Close on the heels of Ram Navmi, is the celebration of Hanuman Jayanti. Shree Hanuman (the monkey god) is the epitome of dedication and a disciple of Lord Rama, and he features in any picture you see of Lord Rama, with his consort Sita & brother Laxman. It is said that when he bared his chest, everyone could see that Lord Rama had a place in his heart & soul. Hanuman Jayanti falls on Monday 10th April 2017, when we will chant 11 Hanuman Chalisa after the evening aarti. On this day, we conduct the puja for Lord Hanuman, and then, on Saturday 15th April, we will celebrate by chanting Hanuman Chalisa 108 times. The programme starts at 9.30am, and bhojan prasad will be served.
